ISLAMABAD: Former Finance Minister and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Miftah Ismail on Tuesday said that non-tax filers could face difficulties in purchasing and sale out of property in days to come.

The PML-N government had announced the tax amnesty scheme and the people could achieve the benefit from this scheme to avoid any penalty in days to come, he said while talking to a private news channel.

The concerned department would have overwhelming response of the people after Eid ul Fitr regarding the tax amnesty scheme, he said.

Before announcing this scheme, the previous government of PML-N had consulted with businessmen and stakeholders, he said.
