ECP asks for appointment of IGs, Chief Secretaries till June 13

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan postponed meeting regarding the security arrangements for upcoming general elections scheduled to be held on Wednesday.

The meeting had been postponed due to non appointment of provincial Inspector Generals and Chief Secretaries. Now the meeting will be held on June 14 (Thursday.)

The ECP had written a letter to Establishment Division and issued instructions to complete the process for the appointment of Chief Secretaries and Inspectors General till June 13 (Wednesday).
