Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Meanwhile three more ships, Copella, YM Miranda and Dewi Saras Wati carrying Palm oil, Chemicals and Kernel also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

A total of ten ships namely, MSC Heidi, CMA CGM Fidelio, Ken Wave, New Able, Mandarin Singapore, Red Daisey, Coventry, Caspion Gas, Muscat Silver and Jo Pinari are currently occupying PQA berths to load/offload Containers, Cement, Steel Coil, Coal, Canola Seeds, IPG Palm Oil and Diesel oil respectively.

A cargo volume of 138,441 tonnes, comprising 94,114 tonnes import cargo and 44,327 tonnes export cargo inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 3,667 containers (TEUs) 1,868 TEUs imports and 1,799 TEUs exports was handled during last 24 hours.

Two ships, Mandarin Singapore and New Able Sailed out to sea on Tuesday morning, while two more ships CMA CGM Fidello and Caspian Gas are expected to sail on same day in the afternoon.

Three ships, Maersk Kensington, Forever SW and Reem-3 carrying Containers, Coal and Bitumen are expected to take berths at QICT, PQEPT and MW-I respectively on Tuesday.
