ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), and former finance minister Miftah Ismail on Monday said that his party would clinch majority seats in the next general election.

In Punjab, the PML-N would sweep the polls without facing any difficulty, he said while talking to a private news channel.

The PML-N had full members and energetic team to run party and country affairs, he said.

To a question he said that some politicians were joining other political parties but it would not affect the PML-N.

To another question Miftah said the people would decide and choose the next leaders who delivered and performed well during the last five years.

He hoped that the PML-N would form the next government with full support of the masses.
