MULTAN: Different religious parties of Jamat-e-Ahl Sunnat formed an alliance Mutthida Nifaz Nizam Mustufa Mahaz (MNNMM) to contest elections 2018.

Although, the candidates of alliance will contest as Independent candidate. The party has not been registered with Election Commission.

It comprised of different groups of Ahl-e-Sunnat, namely JUP, Sunni Majlis Ammal, Nizam Mustufa, Sunni Tehreek. Allama Abul Khair Zubair, Engineer Sami ullah, Moulana Fazal Kareem, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, and Haji Hanif Tayyib.

According to spokesperson of Ex federal minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi, Hamid Saeed will contest election from Laiqatpur and he would be candidate of the religious alliance MNNMM.

On Friday, Ex President of Pakistan Asif Zardari had visited Multan to convince Hamid Saeed Kazmi to contest election on PPP ticket from NA 156, against Shah Mehmood Qureshi of PTI.

However, Kazmi decided to appear as independent candidate from Liaqatpur.
