Fair, free and transparent elections top priority: Balochistan CM
QUETTA: Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan Alauddin Marri on Friday said that fair, free and transparent elections and restoration of peace and security in the province were his top priorities.
He expressed these views at his first press conference after taking oath.
He stressed political parties in Balochistan to support his mandate of conducting fair and free elections.
The caretaker cabinet in Balochistan would consist of non-political and youth segment, he said.
He said as he was selected by the Election Commission for the post, therefore it was his responsibility to take along all political parties.
In response to a question he said that interim government would take all possible measures to conduct free and fair elections in a peaceful environment.
