Talking to media on the occasion of visit a mobile hospital, the GB CM said that as part of such efforts the provincial government procured three mobile hospitals costing Rs6.8 million each. He said the these health facilities were equipped with modern facilities including X-Ray machines, micro lab, ultrasound machine, oxigion codensator, OPD, ICU, CCU, ECG, G machine and cardiac monitor.
He said that the people of far flung areas would also take benefit from these state of the art hospitals which number would be increased to five in order to benefit maximum people of the area.
He said the provincial government accorded top priorities to the health sectors and introduced a number of reforms in it, yielding positive results.
He said that the government had increased budget by 76 percent for the health sector which reflected the government’s sincere efforts for uplift of this crucial sector.
He added that the government would soon formally inaugurate the mobile hospitals and had directed the concerned officials to work out SOPs in this regard.
