Shehbaz Sharif takes a dig at Chaudhry Nisar for his ‘childish attitude’
Hitting out at Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) and party president Shehbaz Sharif said on Wednesday that the former interior minister has a childish attitude
Speaking to the media at an inauguration ceremony at district headquarters hospital in Rajanpur, CM Shehbaz said that Nisar has an immature attitude and he hopes that the ongoing situation will soon be resolved.
Speaking about his elder brother - the deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif - Shehbaz said, "Nisar is Mian Sahab’s [Nawaz's] friend." The CM further said that the former interior minister Chaudhry had always complained to Nawaz about him and that Chaudhry became his friend after sometime, local media reported.
Nisar has been associated with the PML-N for quite a long time, however, reports recently surfaced that the ex-interior minister was having differences with the party. However, on numerous occasions while speaking to the media, Nisar has never claimed to leave the party.
The ex-minister has often spoken before the media indirectly about the problems that he has been facing with the party leaders. In a previous press conference, Nisar said, "I have never left [Sharif brothers] but then it is also their responsibility to not leave others behind. I have always shouldered the political burden of Nawaz and the PML-N, but I am not the kind who does someone's bidding."
