Conducting election in time to ensure investment, progress in country: MNA

ISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly Shaista Pervaiz Malik on Tuesday said that conducting general election in time would ensure investment and progress in the country.

We have full confidence that people would use their right of vote in favour of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), who resolved many issues of the country including load-shedding and terrorism, she said while talking to a news channel.

The present government had provided uninterrupted power supply to the industrial sector besides launching many projects to meet the growing demand of energy in the country, she said.

To a question about current load-shedding, she said there was a problem in the transmission due to which the people had to face power outage.

Replying to a question about toppling the culture of prime ministers of this country, she said all the political parties should sit together to address the issue for streamlining the system.

Shaista Pervaiz Malik lauded the unity that exhibited by all the political parties on the matter of terrorism.

She added that Pakistan had achieved many success in war against terrorism due to unity and support of the political parties to the present government.
