Karachi has again fallen victim to another heatwave as the temperature will soar up to 45°C from Tuesday onwards, which will last for next three days.

According to the warning issued by Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the port city will face another heatwave spell that is expected to continue till Thursday. Maximum temperature is expected to remain in the range of 41-45°C during the period.

The sweltering weather is caused by the absence of sea breeze. However, the temperature will moderately drop in the next two days.

This is the second round of heatwave to hit Karachi in the same month. Last week, the temperature soared up to 44°C and remained the same for three to four days.

Meanwhile, residents of Lahore and Islamabad too endured the first heatwave of the year there, as the mercury has risen in both the cities.
