Bad precedent set by involving my daughter in court case: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League(N) Quaid, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Thursday said a bad precedent was set by involving his daughter Maryam Nawaz in a case in the Accountability Court.

Talking to media outside the Accountability Court here, he said a very indecent example was being set and those who were behind this step of involving his daughter in the case, acted wrongly.

Nawaz Sharif said the case belonged to the time when Maryam Nawaz was not even part of politics. “She has nothing to do with this case, yet she is being dragged into it," he added.

To a question, he said he showed patience when his ministers Pervaiz Rashid and Mushahidullah Khan resigned. He said he revealed certain facts before the court as it was the right time to do it.
