Indian troops once again targeted civilians as they resorted to unprovoked firing along the Working Boundary in Harpal and Charwah sectors on Monday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) today, Indian forces initiated unprovoked cease fire violation since early morning. The Indian army has been targeting the civil population with mortars and heavy weapons.

The ISPR statement further reads that the Pakistan Rangers Punjab retaliated and effectively responded to the firing of Indian posts that had targeted the civilians. "Intermittent fire continues," the statement further reads.

Due to India's another targeted firing earlier on Friday, four civilians were martyred and several were wounded across the Working Boundary in Sialkot. The martyred in the firing included one woman and three children.
