WELLINGTON: For the second time in a week, an All Blacks prop has been cited for a dangerous foul, with Owen Franks booked following the Canterbury Crusaders' 32-24 victory over the Auckland Blues on Saturday.

His Crusaders and Test teammate Joe Moody copped a two-week suspension last week for an elbow to the face of Kurtley Beale during their win against the NSW Waratahs.

Franks escaped punishment during the Blues game, but his alleged strike to the head of Blues hooker James Parsons was highlighted by the television match official.

He will appear before a judicial panel on Sunday.
