LAHORE: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique Sunday termed India's discriminative, revengeful and exploitative attitude the main cause of instability, hatred and terrorism in the region.

The minister, in a statement here, said Pakistan had remained insecure due to the Indian attitude since its independence.

He said peace and stability in the region was the common responsibility of both the countries. However, India being a bigger country as far as area and resources were concerned, had more responsibility than Pakistan, but it had failed in doing so, he added.

The minister said from day one India had created hurdles for Pakistan. Now, it was trying to impede China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project, he added.

He said Pakistan had become a victim of the failed Afghan policy of the United States and India was adding fuel to the fire.
