PESHAWAR: Central President Awami National Party, Asfandyar Wali Khan Friday said that his party believed in supremacy of democracy and it would not support any undemocratic force in the country.

In a statement issued from Baacha Khan Markaz here in connection of 12 May 2007 incident, he said that it was witnessed that ANP never supported undemocratic forces in past and it would not help them in future.

Asfandyar said that ANP numerous workers lost their lives for the noble cause of establishing peace in the motherland.

He said "We still have moments to unite against the menace of militancy and pass safer and stable Pakistan to coming generations."

ANP Chief also recalled sacrifices of ANP workers on May 12.
