Pakistan former captain Younis Khan has finally fulfilled his promise that he made to a 12-year-old fan from New Zealand, after teaching him about his batting technique.

Two years ago, Felix Anderson, a fan from New Zealand, wrote a letter to Younis calling him one of his ‘biggest heroes,’ while praising the modern batting great for his ‘technique’ and stroke play.

“I am writing to you because you are one of my biggest heroes. Your technique is beautiful to watch - how perfect your cover drive is or how your cut is timed. Your 313 against Sri Lanka was incredible to watch,” read the letter from Felix.

However, Younis came across two years old letter on April 25 this year. He thanked his young fan for writing the letter and said he would give him ‘some tips’ as requested.

“Dear Felix, thank you for this sweet letter. I know this is almost two years old, but it only came across me now. I will surely make a small video to give you some tips as you requested,” Younis wrote on social media.

Khan fulfilled his promise and posted a video on Twitter, in which he taught lessons of cover drive and cut shot.
