FAISALABAD: State Minister for Interior Talal Badar Chaudhry Tuesday said the PML-N would clean sweep the General Election 2018 on basis of its development agenda.

Addressing a corner meeting in connection with election campaign in his constituency at Jaranwala, he said the PML-N government had completed record development projects during its five year tenure.

"On the other hand, our political rivals hoodwinked the people with hollow slogans as they completely failed to serve the masses in their respective provinces," he added.

He said that deep rooted conspiracies were being hatched against the PML-N by anti development elements. However, they did not know that people wanted to see continuity of development pace and for this purpose, they would again vote and support the PML-N in upcoming general election.

The State Minister said, "The PML-N has strong candidates to contest the General Election 2018 in every constituency whereas our rivals are still struggling in search of suitable candidates for this purpose."

He said that Faisalabad was a strong citadel of PML-N and his party would win all National Assembly as well as Provincial Assembly seats in this area.

He said the PML-N government had overcome the menace of load shedding and terrorism and now Pakistan had been put on road to progress and prosperity and people would get benefits from the development policies of PML-N government very soon.
