ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad Wednesday indicted three accused in Imran Farooq's murder case and also issued arrest warrants for MQM’s founder Altaf Hussein.

AC Judge Shahrukh Arjamand also directed the National Database Registration Authority to block Altaf's Computerized National Identity Card and passport.

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had registered Imran Farooq's murder case over two year ago.

The hearing was conducted at the premises of Adyala Jail. Special Prosecutor FIA Khawaja Muhammad Imtiaz submitted the case challan against seven accused, including Altaf Hussein, Moazzam Ali, Khalid Shamim, Mohsin Ali and Kashif, hatching a conspiracy for Imran Farooq’s murder.

The court indicted three accused Khalid Shamim, Moazzam Ali and Mohsin Ali who were present during the proceeding. The accused denied murder charges against them.

The court directed the prosecution to produce evidence and witness in support of their allegations on May 8.
