Addressing a gathering near Narrwala Banglow, he said that billion of rupees had been spent on construction of carpet roads in rural areas besides providing other facilities to the people.

The minister said that rural areas had been inter-linked with cities through carpet roads and benefits of the project was directly reaching to farmers for bringing agriculture yield to the markets.

He said that record numbers of uplift projects including provision of clean drinking water, communication, health, education and others had been completed in rural areas.

He termed the kissan package a bless for farmers adding that supply of fertilizer, agriculture tools on subsidized rates to farmers and interest free loans were silent features of the package.

He said that PML-N would continue the travel of serving people after re-electing in general election-2018 on its performance base adding that those creating hurdles on way of development would be rejected by the people.

The minister said that construction of two-way road from bypass chowk to motorway interchange costing Rs 330 million would bring revolution in the area.

On the occasion Mian Zia ul Rehman, Rana Ayyub Aslam Manj, Abdul Latif Gogi, Matloob Ahmed, Sardar Saleem and others were also present.
