Pakistan top all rounder Mohammad Hafeez is celebrating a major victory after the International Cricket Council (ICC) gave Hafeez green signal to bowl again in international cricket.

Hafeez expressed his happiness and thanked Pakistan Cricket Board and its chairman Najam Sethi for support, on Twitter. “Special thanks to all National Cricket Academy staff to help me in my remedial work, thanks to Carl Crowey and Paul Hurrion for their input,” he added.

The all-rounder also thanked his fans for their support during the ‘tough times.’

Hafeez's return to bowling was celebrated by his teammates and fans, as they wished Hafeez to regain the number one spot at the ODI all-rounder rankings. Currently, Bangladesh’s superstar Shakib Al Hasan is the reigning all rounder in ODIs.

ICC had announced earlier that following remedial work and re-assessment, the bowling action of Hafeez has been found to be legal and the off-spinner can now resume bowling in international cricket.
