Deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that if he would have been allowed to complete his tenure as the prime minister he would have made a 'new Pakistan'.

Speaking to the media outside an accountability court on Monday, Sharif said that he would have made a new Pakistan if he was allowed to complete his tenure. He expressed regret over the continued leg pulling of government by various quarters.

Criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan,Sharif said everyone knows what Khan did in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Commenting on Khan's recent public gathering in Lahore, Sharif said that everyone had been hearing Khan's hollow claims since many years and everyone knows what he did in KP.

Sharif, along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar, appeared before an accountability court pertaining to corruption references filed by the National Accountability Bureau.

Judge Mohammad Bashir resumed the court proceedings of the Avenfield properties. NAB's investigation officer the last witness began recording his statement,local media reported.
