Two men, who belonged to Hazara community, were killed after unidentified assailants opened fire at them in Quetta on Saturday.
The victims died on the spot of the shooting. The incident took place at a shop when unidentified suspects drove and opened fire at them. The deceased men have been identified as Jaffar and Muhammad Ali, local media reported.
According to the police, this incidence was a targeted killing. However, no group has come forth to claim responsibility for the incidence.
Quetta has seen a spark of attacks against Hazaras in last few years. According to a report by the National Commission of Human Rights, since the last five years in Quetta, 509 Hazaras were killed in different incidents of terrorism.
