Women MPAs hail federal budget

LAHORE: Women MPAs on Friday hailed the federal budget 2018-19 and termed it pro-people.

Talking to APP, MPAs including Dr Farzana Nazir, Fatima Fareeha and Haseena Begum said the government had allocated huge amount for social welfare, education, health and other sectors for providing relief to masses.

The MPAs lauded the efforts of the federal government for the development of agriculture sector, and added that the allocation of loans for farmers and subsidy on fertilizers would definitely yield positive results.

The government had increased salaries and house rent of employees which would provide relief to salaried class persons and raise their living standard, they added.

They said the government had allocated amounts for various development projects of water, energy and roads which would help strengthening economy.
