Every waiting hall would be air-conditioned wherein TV, toilets, wifi, mobile phone chargers, security cameras and other facilities would be available for passengers, said Divisional Commercial Officer Railways, Nabeela Aslam while talking to APP here on Wednesday.

The air conditioned waiting halls were almost ready at different railways stations including Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, DG Khan, Bhakar and some others. She said that Pakistan Railways would offer every possible facility to attract more passengers.

Nabeela Aslam said about 10 thousands passengers travel from Multan Railways station on daily basis and additional facility of air conditioned halls would facilitate them. Multan Railways station earned Rs 22 lakh to 28 lakh per day, she said and hoped that the income would increase remarkably after the inauguration of the halls.

She said that a meeting of Railways officials would be held on April 28 to discuss inauguration ceremony and some other affairs to enhance facilitation for the passengers.
