New Zealand superstar picks Wasim Akram in his dream line up

New Zealand speedster Trent Boult has picked Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram in his dream bowling line up, alongside his teammate, a South African great and a Blackcaps hero.

“I definitely put Tim Southee in the group, he’s been my bowling all through my career honestly, so I have to say him firstly. I check my two idols and there is Wasim Akram, and see what he can do and Dale Steyn, and probably the great Sir Richard Hadlee,” said Boult, in a message to ICC.

The Kiwi fast bowler, who was exceptional during the last ICC World Cup, where he played a vital role taking his side to the finals of the tournament for the first time, was of the view that it be ‘awesome’ if he gets to see his dream bowling line in action someday.

“So that’s a hell of a bowling line up, and I wouldn’t be able to bat against them, but it would be awesome if something like that could happen,” he added.
