IK started horse-trading by giving tickets to billionaires in Senate polls: Muqam
PESHAWAR: PML-N Provincial President and Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam Friday said that PTI chief Imran Khan himself leveled way for horse-trading during Senate polls while giving party tickets to billionaires.
“Imran Khan is main cause of controversy in Senate polls who has given party tickets to owners of off-shore companies to become premier of Pakistan,” he said while addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club.
He said that all the corrupt politicians were seeking refuge in PTI with a view to become chasten, questioning that on which grounds Imran Khan gave party tickets Ayub Afridi, Khiyal Zaman, Fida Khan in Senate polls?
Muqam noted that whole PTI including party leader Imran Khan surrendered before PPP in Senate polls and gave vote to PPP candidates for seats of Chairman and Deputy Chairman.
He said the history would tell how Imran Khan violated rules while claiming himself a law abider, adding that Chief Justice of Pakistan had exposed the reforms of PTI in health sector in KP and gave a 14-points directives to provincial government.
He said the people teach a lesson to PTI in upcoming general elections by rejecting them. He said that KP CM Pervez Khattak protected all his blue-eyed ministers from charges of selling votes in Senate pols and victimized those who he was considering against him.
He said MPA Babar Salim was member of PMLN before Senate poll and still the party worker.
