Kenyan shilling strengthens to highest level since July 2015

At 0913 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 99.95/100.05 to the dollar, up from Thursday's close of 100.35/55.

The shilling last traded below the psychologically important 100 level on July 8, 2015, when it was at 99.80/99.90 per dollar.
