CJ directs all IGPs to withdraw security of non entitled people

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar Thursday took notice of security provided to a large number of non entitled persons in the country.

Taking notice of the issue, Chief Justice directed Inspectors General Police (IGPs) Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan and Islamabad to withdraw the police security within 24 hours of those people who were not entitled.

He also directed them to submit affidavit to the effect duly attested by Oath Commissioner on next date of hearing on 23.04.2018 at Islamabad, said a press release said.

As far as, IG KP was concerned, he had submitted his report in the Court today at Peshawar Registry and gave undertaking that security of non entitled people would be withdrawn today till 6:00 p.m.
