ISLAMABAD: Senator Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Dr Musadik Malik on Thursday said that combined power plants would start functioning next month.

No proper attention was given to construct power houses in the country during the regime of Musharraf, he said while talking to a private news channel.

There had been discussion about installation of power plants during Musharraf regime but not a single power house was constructed anywhere, he said.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), government after coming into power in 2013 elections had taken steps and launched many projects to address the issue of energy in the country, he added.

He said all the combined power plants would start working in next month.

To a question about provision of gas to Sindh, he said without money, the gas could not be provided.
