Asfandyar asks NAB KP to probe corrupt practices of KP Govt

PESHAWAR: President of Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan said that the country was heading towards crises like situation due to intra fighting among the political entities, casting negative impact on the nation.

Addressing party workers convention at Charsadda, the ANP leader said that nobody was taking interest in resolving the problems of the country as all the politician were engaged in tussle for their personal interest and gains leaving behind the core issues.

He cautioned that delay in merger of Fata into KP would create more problems for the government as the tribesmen were faced with difficult situation due to their massive displacements in the wake of security forces operations, destruction of their houses, health facilities and schools in tribal belt.

He said that the ANP called the first APC on Fata, adding we are followers of Bacha Khan who propagated philosophy of non violence throughout his life. We will fight for the rights of the tribal people in a constitutional and democratic manner.

Referring to horse trading in senate elections, Asfandyar Khan said that members of the PTI voted for the PPP candidate in the senate elections despite the fact Imran Khan always dubbed Asif Zardari as the most corrupt politician of the country.

Asif Ali Zardari exposed the PTI’s parliamentarians before the masses by purchasing their votes in the senate elections.

Imran Khan day and night talked of eliminating corruption from the country whereas his own party PTI was massively involved in corrupt practices and their five years government in KP bore testimony to this fact.

For the first time in history of KP Assembly the lawmakers held their own Chief Minister as the most corrupt person and proved it on the floor of the assembly as well.

However NAB KP was silent over probing all these allegations and accusations of the lawmakers of the government benches.

The NAB KP should come in action against the PTI government for its ruthless corruption in Billion Tree Tsunami, Bab e Peshawar Flyover and Peshawar Metro projects.

He asked the PTI leaders to tell the nation as to how much commission and corruption they made in the construction of Peshawar Metro Project which they called Jungla Bus in Lahore.

The ANP leader said that many big political faces would change their loyalties in the upcoming general elections.

The ANP always sacrifices for the cause of the country and the nation and would continue to protect the rights of the people after winning the general elections.
