Speaking about the recent Indian atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK), spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Mohammad Faisal said on Thursday that India is not ready to engage in dialogues with Pakistan regarding this important issue.

According to local media reports, the spokesperson expressed solidarity with the people of Jammu and occupied Kashmir. Condemning the Indian brutalities in IoK, Faisal said that Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was calling a special meeting to review the situation in IoK.

The spokesperson further said that representatives would be sent to several countries in order to advocate for the rights of Kashmiris.

On April 2, a deadly clash between Indian soldiers and Kashmir freedom fighters in the IoK left 20 people martyred. The clash started when police opened fire on thousands of demonstrators, who poured onto the streets of Srinagar, throwing stones and chanting slogans against the Indian rule.
