Turns out Sammy is not the only WIndies star in love with Karachi’s biryani
After pleasing the taste buds of champion skipper Darren Sammy, turns out our very own biryani has quite impressed another West Indies star. A video circulating on the social media shows West Indies fast bowler Kesrick William enjoying a plate of Karachi’s biryani, “Karachi has the best biryani, the best biryani in the world, there is no other food like biryani, it is the best food,” Williams said. Pakistani food culture is highly regarded across the globe and if there is one icon dish of the country that is enjoyed by everyone, it is biryani and the fact that West Indian players enjoyed eating it too is another proof. The West Indies team arrived in Pakistan for a three match T20I series this month, marking a return of international cricket to the country after nine long years. Although the foreign players did not get to go around the city that much, the West Indian stars still got to enjoy the delicious food of Karachi. Pakistan cruise to a 3-0 series win against visitors the West Indies, after the hosts outclassed them by eight wickets in the third T20I on Tuesday.
