Ranjha terms meeting between heads of state institutions positive
ISLAMABAD: Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs, Mohsin Ranjha Saturday said meeting between heads of state institutions to remove reservations and resolve issues of the people was a positive gesture.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was running affairs of the state independently and met with Chief Justice of Pakistan in national interest.
Commenting on upcoming general elections, Ranjha said, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was in a strong position and would retain its place in the elections on the basis of its performance.
He expressed his opinion that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf would face up-set in the elections particularly in Punjab province.
To a question, he said former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was facing cases against him but nothing was proved so far.
