His performance at the tournament won him several accolades including the Man of the Match and Man of the Series award. He powered his side to the PSL title after hitting a blistering half-century as he anchored Islamabad United to a three-wicket win over defending champion Peshawar Zalmi in the final on Sunday in Karachi.
