Pakistan is now gearing up to host West Indies for three-match Twenty 20 International (T20I) series and International Cricket Council (ICC) officials would be attending the series.

Like the three-match T20 series against World XI was staged in Lahore last September, this Pakistan-West Indies series will also be witnessed by officials of the ICC.

Dawn News citing its source reported that ICC match referee and other officials would travel to Karachi for the series.

“The ICC has appointed David Boon as match referee for the three T20 Internationals against the West Indies. ICC general manager cricket, Geoff Allardice, and ICC senior manager umpires and referees, Adrian Griffith, will also be in Karachi for the series, the media house quoted.

The series between Pakistan and the West Indies, the reigning world T20 champions, will commence on April 1 followed by matches on April 2 and 3.
