Hot weather to persist in Karachi as mercury soars up to 40°C

Karachi is expected to face more heat in the coming days as the temperature will remain as high as 39 to 40 degrees Celsius.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, other than Karachi, dry weather will be experienced across the country. The heat in Karachi is expected to persist up to Wednesday.

The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 43oC in Shaheed Benazirabad. In Mithi, it was 41oC, while the temperature in Karachi, Dadu, Thatta, Choor, Lasbela and Pid Edan was 40oC.

Everyone is advised to stay hydrated and refrain from going outside.
