Addressing a conference titled Promoting Religious Harmony in Light of the Teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he said Muslims should display the power of righteous character for practically showing the picture a true believer of Islam.
He said misunderstanding are being deliberately created among fellow Muslims to waste their energies in futile internal bickering so that the enemies could not remain safe.
"We should all play our due role in achieving the lasting peace in the country as Islam too preaches tolerance, forbearance and avoid war in the name of Islam" he concluded.
