ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing of a case regarding approval of Ishaq Dar's nomination papers for the Senate elections till date in office.

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and comprising Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Ijazul Ahsan heard the case.

The chief justice remarked that Ishaq Dar hired services of Advocate Salman Butt, who was on holidays.

Meanwhile, the same bench adjourned hearing of the contempt of court case against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over counsel Makhdoom Ali Khan's adjournment plea for two weeks.
