Matters of mutual interest and current projects were discussed in the meeting. Hamza Shehbaz said sectors of human resource and youth development are vital for sustainable development and they must invest as much as possible in this regard.
He said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had taken a number of steps for equal development in society. Due to correct policies, strengthening of infrastructure had been attained, he said adding that revolutionary changes had been brought about in the education sector.
Joanna Reid said on the occasion that positive signs of policies of Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif were visible and the organization also admired his vision. She also briefed Hamza Shehbaz on the development projects, launched with the cooperation of the DFID and assured all-out cooperation in future.
DFID Representative for Punjab Ms Ruth Graham was also present in the meeting.
