Karachi Kings have won the toss and elected to bowl first against Peshawar Zalmi in the second eliminator of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) being played at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Wednesday.

After intermittent rain most of the day, the match could not start on time (7pm as per schedule). Toss was delayed till 7:45pm. The match is expected to start at 8:15pm (16 overs per side).

The Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators in a last-ball thriller last night, cementing their place in the today’s eliminator the Kings.

The winner of the game will book a place against Islamabad United in the final, to be played in Karachi on March 25.

The Kings suffered a major blow ahead of the match as they lost star all-rounder Shahid Afridi due to a knee injury. The team will also not have the services of recovering skipper Imad Wasim, and will be led by Mohammad Amir.
