The city of Lahore received two visitors at a time, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and rain but the problem is that the two do not share the best of chemistry.

As per the meteorological report for Wednesday, there are chances of rain and thunderstorm at isolated places in Lahore. As Lahore is set to host another eliminator between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi, and in case if rain continues, the Kings will qualify for the final.

This is due to the PSL rules under which if there is no result in a play-off match, the team that finished in with the highest league position at the end of group stage is deemed the winner of the match.

The Kings finished the group stage second with 11 points, meanwhile Zalmi were third on the list with 10 points. In that case, Karachi Kings will be facing the Islamabad United at the PSL final in Karachi on Sunday.

Earlier on Tuesday night, the Peshawar Zalmi won a thriller against Quetta Gladiators by one run in the first eliminator of the tournament. Although the match got disrupted initially due to rain, the match was later on resumed.
