In a statement Tuesday, he said Soomro's contribution for stability of democracy in the country will always be remembered by the nation in general.
Acknowledging that Ayaz Soomro had over the years also served in different capacities and remained associated with different ministries of the Sindh government, Governor said his capabilities had largely benefitted the masses.
"We have been deprived of a competent politician and a leader dedicated to the cause of public empowerment," said Muhammad Zubair.
Offering his hear felt condolence to the bereaved family, he prayed to Allah to grant eternal peace to the deceased and solace to mourners.
