Pakistan celebrates Ronchi’s brutal knock

Ronchi's unbeaten knock of 94 runs, including 12 boundaries and five maximums, proved too much for the Kings bowling line, as the target of 155 runs seemed like a laughing matter for the Kiwis blaster. He proved his intention early on when he hit back-to-back boundaries of the first two deliveries he faced from Muhammad Amir.

The United opener set up new records on the way, hitting the fastest fifty of PSL history leaking just 19 deliveries. Ronchi celebrated his side victory as Islamabad United marched into the finals for the second time in three seasons.

“Pumped to have made it to the PSL final with Islamabad United boys. Great group to be involved with and we've been playing some amazing cricket. Congrats to everyone involved with the franchise,” Ronchi said on social media.

Meanwhile, cricketers and fans applauded Ronchi for his blitzkrieg entertainment at Dubai International Stadium.
