A Polish officer has died of wounds sustained during a raid in Afghanistan on Wednesday, a Polish military official said. Captain Krzysztof Wozniak, 36, a member of the elite GROM unit, was fatally wounded during an operation with Afghan troops in the south-east province of Ghazni, said Miroslaw Ochyra, spokesman for the Polish contingent.
