Pakistan superstar all rounder Shahid Afridi did not celebrate the wicket of Misbah ul Haq after the leggie castled United skipper last night, as a sign of respect for Pakistan’s former captain.

Afridi, who last night (Friday) became only the fourth bowler and the first from Pakistan to claim 300 wickets in T20 cricket in 273 matches. The leg spinner playing for Karachi Kings broke into the defenses of Misbah in the ninth over and carried on with his usual celebration but stopped mid way as a mark of respect for the fellow veteran.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi won praise after he opted not to celebrate after taking Shahid Afridi’s wicket as a sign of respect to the cricket legend at Pakistan Super League.
