Pakistan wicketkeeper batsman Kaman Akmal won hearts after hitting a blistering knock of 107 runs for his side Peshawar Zalmi against Lahore Qalandars, while the match winning hundred was the first ton of this season Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Hitting his fourth hundred in T20 cricket, Akmal became the first wicketkeeper batsman to score four hundreds in T20s, South Africa’s Quinton de Kock and Australian legend Adam Gilchrist have hit hundreds each.

Fellow cricketers and experts, as well as Malala Yousufzai congratulated Kamran on social media for his ‘beautiful inning’, taking Zalmis a step forward in Pakistan’s most prestigious T20 tournament.

Zalmi pace express Wahab Riaz thanked Malala, inviting her to support the ‘Yellow Storm’ for the play-offs.

Meanwhile, fellow Zalmis and cricketing experts also praised the 37-year-old for his thunder at Sharjah.
