CBOT wheat firms on K.C. gains amid Plains drought

Yield prospects were dimming for winter wheat in the breadbasket of the southern US Plains, where the crop is emerging from dormancy and requiring moisture at a time when much of the region is gripped by drought.

MGEX spring wheat prices were lower.

The CME Group reported three deliveries against CBOT March wheat.
