Under the agreements, students, researchers and faculty members will gain access to specialised laboratories, technical mentorship, training and prototyping facilities. The partnerships will also encourage joint research, entrepreneurship and knowledge exchange while bridging the gap between academic research and industry applications.
Makerspace Punjab, a Punjab government’s initiative implemented by PITB, aims to strengthen Pakistan’s hardware innovation ecosystem through advanced facilities for product design, prototyping, testing and indigenous product development.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that our collaborations with leading academic institutions will strengthen the link between research and industry, enabling students and researchers to transform innovative ideas into practical, market-ready products.
Makerspace Punjab reflects its commitment to fostering indigenous innovation and building a sustainable technology ecosystem, he added.
