Worldcall placed in non-compliant segment after court dismisses plea

WorldCall Telecom Limited (WTL) has been placed back in the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s (PSX) Non-Compliant Segment effective September 16, after a court dismissed the company’s application seeking interim relief against regulatory action.
The move follows an order issued by the court on September 11, 2026, dismissing WTL’s application, which had previously resulted in a temporary restoration of the company to the normal trading counter.
“It is hereby notified that PSX is now in receipt of a copy of the Hon’ble Court’s Order dated September 11, 2026, whereby the aforesaid Application filed by WTL seeking interim relief has been dismissed.
“Consequent upon the court’s order dated September 11, 2026, WTL is once again placed in the Non Compliant Segment in terms of Clause 5.11.1.(d) of the PSX Regulations effective September 16, 2026, upon its failure to pay the additional listing fee applicable on increase in its paid-up capital within the final timeframe i.e. November 20, 2025, communicated to it vide PSX letter dated November 05, 2025,” read the notice.

The company has now been given 90 days, until December 14, 2026, to rectify the non-compliance.
Failure to comply within the stipulated period could lead to further regulatory action, including issuance of a risk warning alert against WTL, said PSX.
WTL is a public limited company incorporated in Pakistan in 2001. The company provides Wireless Local Loop (WLL) and Long Distance and International (LDI) services in Pakistan.
