Gold and silver prices in Pakistan saw a significant decrease on Wednesday, with per tola gold falling by Rs3,700, reflecting a global market decline.

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Wednesday in line with their loss in the international market. In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs458,236 after a decline of Rs3,700 during the day.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs392,863 after it fell by Rs3,172, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Tuesday, gold price per tola remained the same at Rs461,936.
The international rate of gold declined by $37 to reach $4,358 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs186 to reach Rs6,800 per tola.
